"There are several health risks associated with driving a taxicab in New York City. One is the danger of a bullet in the head. Another--hemorrhoids--from bouncing up and down all day on bumpy city streets.

I was lucky. I got the latter. The doctor fast-forwarded me to the surgeon.

"Quite severe," the surgeon said after my examination. "You're going to need an operation."

The operation was scheduled for five weeks later. During this period, and by sheer accident, I saw in a magazine, "Shrink Hemorrhoids Naturally". It was an advertisement for Hemorr-ice. I knew nothing of the product, but little was there to lose. I ordered it.

The directions said, "In general, the treatment period for Hemorr-ice is two insertions per day, morning and evening, for one to two weeks. An insertion should last approximately two to five minutes. It is not painful and there are no adverse effects."

I found the treatments to be effective. My hemorrhoids..." - By Ron Z (Atlantic City, N.J. USA)

"Didn't initially like this product, but after leaving it dormant for the last few months. I picked it up for the first time and was astounded on what I had been missing out on. Initially gave a two star review and have changed it to five stars. Just make sure you use enough lubrication or you could complicate things. I apologize if I lead anyone away from this product by my past review. " - By Anonymous (California)

"The only thing that got rid of my postpartum thrombosed hemorrhoid, June 5, 2011

I delivered a 9 lb 10 oz baby, forceps assisted, and had an awful tear and plenty of brusing... I'm sure my hemorrhoid would have been bad enough as it was, but they sent me home on HEAVY duty pain meds with no laxative. Eventually I discovered Miralax, thank God. I was on it for months because it's the only thing that just makes your stool nice and soft without giving you cramping or other bad side-effects most laxatives have. Still, nothing was touching that hemorrhoid. Finally I found this. I used it for a few weeks and eventually the hemorrhoid went away. I'm still worried it will come back next time I deliver... but at least now I know what to use on it. " - By Lisa Murakami
